Synopsis
Brief Encounter by Noel Coward and Emma Rice
Imagine you are desperately in love. But with the wrong person.
Laura, a respectable suburban wife, and Alec, an idealistic, married doctor, meet at a train station and fall passionately in love, but their romance is doomed from the start.
David Lean’s iconic 1945 movie, Brief Encounter, was written by Noël Coward and based on his one-act play, Still Life - which was performed by ATG in 2013. This timeless tale of joy and heartache has been adapted for the stage by Emma Rice and is interspersed with Noel Coward songs, we're sure you'll love it!

Doors open at 7:30pm, please don't plan to arrive before 7:30pm because we may still be setting up and will have to ask you to wait outside for safety reasons.
Please note, seating is unallocated in our Hall. You can book the table you would like to sit at in advance and then choose your seats at that table when you arrive on the night.
Seating is around tables of eight, please feel free to bring your own drinks and nibbles and make yourselves at home. Tea and coffee is available during the interval.
We have a ramp for disabled access, accessible toilets and a hearing loop available, our front of house team are happy to help when you arrive.
