Synopses

Playing With Shadows
Written by Cathy Eva Bennet and directed by Keith Harper

A couple enjoying a comfortable post-Sunday lunch scan of the newspapers are interrupted by an unknown neighbour who is locked out.  Their kindness is repaid in surprising fashion with secrets exposed.

I Never Thought it Would Be Like This
Written by Evelyn Hood and directed by Marian Harper

Following the shipwreck of their cruise ship, strangers Doreen and Arthur are washed up on an uninhabited tropical island. Doreen is a repressed spinster living with mum, Arthur is escaping from a domineering wife who refused to go on the cruise following an argument.  Their ideas of how to deal with their situation are not compatible, should they have one shelter or two?  Then there are two unexpected arrivals who cause further confusion and conflict.

Performance dates:

Thursday 6th July, 8pm
Friday 7th July, 8pm
Saturday 8th July, 8pm

Please note, seating is unallocated in our Hall. You can book the table you would like to sit at in advance and then choose your seats at that table when you arrive on the night.

Fish and chips are included in your ticket price and will be served during the interval. Due to the rise in the cost of fish and chips over the past few years we have unfortunately had to increase our ticket price this year, we hope you understand.
